DESCRIPTION:
Federal
White Type I Cement is a true portland cement manufactured with selected
raw materials to insure negligible amounts of iron and manganese oxides so
as not to produce the gray color of normal portland cement.
BASIC
USE:
Federal
White Cement can be used for all types of architectural or structural
concrete construction where a whiter or brighter color may be needed for
aesthetic or safety reasons. Such application as pre-cast panels and
systems, cast-in-place, masonry units, tilt-up panel systems, roofing
tiles, terrazzo floors, highway median barriers, tile grout, swimming
pools, stucco, colored masonry products, cement paints and coatings and
ornamental precast concrete items lend themselves to using Federal
White Cement. Federal White Cement may also be used to
satisfy low alkali requirements.
INSTALLATION:
Architect
should approve the color and surface texture of samples submitted by the
contractor or precaster.

requirements of ASTM Designation C-150.

AVAILABILITY
AND COST:
Federal
White Cement can be shipped to most destinations
in the United States and
Canada from our manufacturing plant or terminal. Cement shipments can be
made by rail or truck in bags or in bulk.
The
price, F.O.B. destination, of Federal White Cement will be
furnished by the manufacturer upon request.
WARRANTY:
Federal
White Type I Portland Cement complies with the current ASTM C-150. Federal
White Cement makes no guarantee or warranty, expressed or implied,
including, without limitation, warranties of fitness or merchantability
with respect to this product.
MAINTENANCE:
Concrete
and other products manufactured with Federal White Cement
should require no additional maintenance if designed and constructed
following proper and accepted procedures.
